Women say: You wanna get with me, don’t bother with my friends… you gotta go mobile!
Research from SRG’s Women and Digital Life study, involving interviews with 2,000 women in the USA, has confirmed the central role that mobile phones now play in younger women’s lives to keep them socially connected and organized.
“Greater mobile usage and smartphone ownership is allowing women to bypass the PC to upload their pictures to social media sites…. When asked “what technology had the most impact on your life in the last 2 years,” young women picked the mobile over the Internet and PC/Computer”.
