“Hall 7 in Mobile World Congress has changed for the better. In previous years it has been the home for start-ups, but also the mobile adult business. Mobile dating was assumed to be loosely connected with the porn business. This year, that had changed, with MWC cleaning up its act.
As I found out from Romi Parmar, CE0 of the3gdatingagency, unless you’re running a tightly moderated service, 24 /7, there is no point being in the dating branch. His start-up has done great business with one of the UK phone houses. Now he’s looking to franchise the concept to other countries. Romi is an active member of Forum Oxford, and I was impressed by the way he was willing to share his findings and some of the secrets to his success”.
